The ASA will now offer Genomic-Enhanced EPDs (GE-EPDs) for any animals that are profiled through the association using the GeneSeek Genomic Profile (GGP) Tests.

Members can choose between the GGP-High Density or GGP Low-Density tests. Both tests include parentage markers and the individual will receive GE-EPDs in the Fall 2016 North American Shorthorn Genetic Evaluation.

To be included in the next evaluation, all testing must be completed by June 1, 2016. Animals that were previously submitted or included in the Shorthorn Training Population will already be incorporated into the next analysis.
