Kathleen Aschoff, better known as Kat, is originally from Valentine, Nebraska. She graduated from California Polytechnic State University or Cal Poly in 2013 with a bachelor of science in animal science and agricultural business.

Kat really loves traveling in her spare time. She has been to seven different countries around the world and has visited 32 states. Her goal is to travel to all 50 states one day.

She loves her dog, Roxie, a two-year-old Kelpie and Red Heeler cross.

Kat’s favorite food to eat is popcorn.

The thing she enjoys most about working for the American Shorthorn Association is getting to be very involved with all of the members and building lifelong connections.
